Antibody/Tree in night sky

In our body, antibodies fight harmful bacteria and viruses. Antibodies have a Y shape, represented by the tree structure. The light chains of the antibodies have a yellow shading, and the heavy chains have a black shading in this painting. Antibodies bind to antigens on foreign invaders, represented by the clouds.

Antibodies have a constant region, represented by the tree bark, and a variable region, represented by the leaves. Once antibodies bind to antigens on the invaders, they can bind to our immune cells like macrophages and natural killer cells, represented by the moon. This signals to the immune cells to destroy the foreign invaders.
