Rhythm in Life/Kinesins Walking on Microtubule

Kinesins (pink) are motor proteins that transport molecules (blue spheres) inside cells by moving almost rhythmically (“walking”) along microtubules. Microtubules form the cell cytoskeleton and are comprised of alpha and beta tubular subunits (green and purple; tube).
