Gurmannat “Mannat” Kalra

I am a computational biologist with a PhD in molecular medicine, passionate about exploring the intersection of art and science. Drawing on my scientific training and work, I create interpretive artwork that blends the technical precision of molecular biology with the expressive power of painting and digital media. Each of my pieces is inspired by a different biological process, from the complex interplay of cellular pathways to the elegant structure of DNA. Through my art, I seek to convey both the beauty and the complexity of the natural world, and to spark curiosity and wonder in viewers from all backgrounds.
